Missing Minneapolis woman found
An elderly woman who suffers from dementia has been safely found after wandering away from her south Minneapolis home Thursday afternoon.
The Minneapolis Police Department had issued a public request for help after 71-year-old Beverly Gold was reported missing at 1:30 p.m.
Gold was found in the area of 51st St. West and Queen Ave. South, about twenty blocks from her home. Police officials say she has been safely returned home to the care of her family.
