Minn. doctors, nurses to wash ambulances

Doctors, nurses and emergency staff members will hand-wash ambulances at Regions Hospital in St. Paul on Tuesday.

The 18th annual Rig Wash is a way to thank emergency medical services crews.

Leaders of the 3M first response group also will be honored.

And a patient will be reunited with the medic team that helped save his life. Daniel Campeau was transported to Regions by the Medic 4 team.

The event is part of National EMS Week, recognizing EMS workers.
