The Metrodome is down to one major tenant -- the Minnesota Vikings -- and even they don't want to play there anymore.

In this Minnesota Public Radio story from October 1975, Dulcie Lawrence talks to state Sen. Robert North about refurbishing Metropolitan Stadium for the Minnesota Twins and building a new stadium for the Vikings.

North was of the mind that a multi-purpose domed stadium was too expensive. He suggested renovating the Met for the Twins and expanding Memorial Stadium for the Vikings and Minnesota Gophers.
