In this Minnesota Public Radio story from October 1975, Dulcie Lawrence talks to state Sen. Robert North about refurbishing Metropolitan Stadium for the Minnesota Twins and building a new stadium for the Vikings.
North was of the mind that a multi-purpose domed stadium was too expensive. He suggested renovating the Met for the Twins and expanding Memorial Stadium for the Vikings and Minnesota Gophers.
