Mankato man dies in ramp fall
Police in Mankato are investigating why a temporary worker fell to his death from the fifth level of a downtown parking ramp.
Authorities say 41-year-old Richard Douglas Breczinski of Mankato was found in the alley between the ramp and Mankato Place mall about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday. He died at a hospital.
Police say foul play is not suspected.
Breczinski had been employed by a temporary agency and assigned to clean the ramp.
Police plan to examine surveillance footage from cameras placed throughout the ramp.
