Father, son accused of concealing accident

A father and son are accused of concealing a traffic accident in St. Louis County that left a teenager with numerous broken bones.

Prosecutors say the 17-year-old son was drinking before he and 18-year-old Zadie Morgan left a party near Sunshine Lake Friday night.

The younger teen was driving an SUV that crashed into a tree, leaving Morgan with severe facial injuries. Authorities say instead of calling 911, the driver called his father, who picked up the couple.

Morgan's father, Shaun, told investigators that his daughter remembers the father and son trying to clean her up and give her water at their house before they took her home.
