Paul Steiger, the editor-in-chief of ProPublica and chairman of the Committee to Protect Journalists, speaks live at the National Press Club about collaborating and competing in the new era of journalism.

In 2010, ProPublica became the first online news source to win a Pulitzer Prize. The prize was for a piece published both on the organization's Website and in the New York Times Magazine. It told the story of what happened at a hospital in New Orleans immediately after Hurricane Katrina.
