2 killed in semi-car collision
A man and a 9-year-old girl were killed when their car was hit by a semitrailer in Otter Tail County.
The Minnesota State Patrol says the crash happened Monday about 11:30 p.m. on U.S. Highway 10 near Perham.
The patrol says the car pulled out in front of the semi and was hit broadside. The driver of the car, Joshua Lawson, 32, of Evansville, and a front-seat passenger in the car, Kara Westhoff, 9, of Troy, Mo., were killed.
A 10-year-old boy in the back seat of the car had non-life-threatening injuries. The truck driver was not hurt.
