Microsoft's Fargo campus lays off workers

Microsoft Corp. has laid off more workers at its Fargo campus but isn't saying how many.

Spokeswoman Katie Hasbargen described the layoffs to The Forum newspaper as "incremental at best."

The Seattle Times has reported that Microsoft is cutting a few hundred jobs companywide.

The reductions are far smaller than Microsoft's 2009 cuts of 5,800 employees. About 65 people were laid off in Fargo during two rounds of layoffs.
