Event to help returning Minn. troops readjust

Minnesota troops back home from Iraq and Afghanistan will get some help readjusting to civilian life.

More than 200 soldiers and their families are expected at a reintegration event Saturday in Bloomington. The soldiers returned home to Minnesota earlier this year after serving in Iraq and Afghanistan.

It's the first of two events to reconnect service members and their families with community service partners. Soldiers and their families can learn what benefits they are entitled to and what resources are available to help them readjust after life in a war zone.

The event is being held at the Bloomington Sheraton Hotel.
