We're expecting the equivalent of a presidential news conference today for Vikings Nation. Quarterback Brett Favre is expected to take to the podium at the team's headquarters in Eden Prairie. Favre flew in to Minnesota from his home in Mississippi yesterday afternoon in a private jet. While no official announcement has been made, everything points to Favre coming back to the Vikings to play his his 20th year in the NFL.

MPR's Phil Picardi spoke with Brian Murphy, who covers the Vikings for the Pioneer Press.
