Welcoming new U.S. citizens in St. Paul

1 Programs and information packets waited on rows of chairs at the Landmark Center cortile as immigrants filed in for a naturalization ceremony in St. Paul this morning. 
2 The first of nearly 400 people being naturalized in Landmark Center ceremonies today took the Oath of Allegiance. Nearly a quarter of the group were from Somalia. 
3 Alou Mwah, with camera, took a picture of his mother, Mary, who took the Oath of Allegiance and was naturalized as a U.S. Citizen at Landmark Center in St. Paul Thursday, August 26, 2010. They were both from Liberia and now live in Brooklyn Park. 
4 Bishop Yohanna came from Egypt to serve as pastor to Minnesota's only Coptic Orthodox church, based in South St. Paul. He was one of nearly 200 people naturalized at a ceremony in St. Paul on Thursday, August 26, 2010.
