USDA hosting biofuels forum in Morris

The U.S. Department of Agriculture is hosting a biofuels forum on Thursday at the University of Minnesota-Morris.

The forum runs from 9 a.m. to noon at the Renewable Energy Research & Demonstration Center at the university's West Central Research and Outreach Center in Morris.

Linda Hennen, the state director for the USDA's Farm Service Agency, says it's an opportunity to provide feedback about the USDA's Biofuels Strategic Production Report released in June.

The report is part of USDA's efforts to develop a regional strategy to help recharge the rural economy by strengthening the biofuels market.
