2 businesses destroyed by fire in western Minn.

A fire on Main Street in a small western Minnesota city has destroyed two businesses and damaged a third.

Fire officials in Ortonville say a telemarketing company, DCC Solutions, and the Once and Again Thrift store were gutted by the early morning blaze Wednesday, which also damaged a Radio Shack store.

Fire Chief Randy McClain says firefighters did their best to keep the fire from spreading from DCC Solutions to thrift store, but were unsuccessful. He says there was an explosion that accompanied the fire and blew out windows. McClain says no one was injured.

The Minnesota Fire Marshal's Office is expected to send an investigator to the scene Thursday. McClain says finding a cause won't be easy because of the extensive damage.
