Missing Brainerd toddler found safe in doghouse
A toddler who wandered away from her Brainerd area day care has been found safe, sleeping in a doghouse.
Authorities were called Monday about a 1 1/2-year-old girl who had walked away from her day-care provider's home near the Mississippi River.
The Crow Wing County sheriff's office says about 15 minutes later, the girl was found sleeping in a doghouse at a neighboring home.
The Brained Dispatch reports the girl appeared to be OK and was reunited with her mother.
