Police arrest man in connection with weekend homicide in Mpls
A Minneapolis man is being held at the Hennepin County jail in connection with a homicide Friday in north Minneapolis.
Richard Antwon Mayes-Lindsay, 22, was arrested Saturday in the shooting death of 31-year-old Mario Derral Combs. Police say the shooting took place when a fight involving several people broke out on the 400 block of 29th Avenue North.
A patrol sergeant investigating the gunshots found Combs wounded by gunfire. He died at the scene.
