Small Minn. town continues tornado repairs
Residents of the small Minnesota town of Almora continue repairing homes six months after a deadly outbreak of tornadoes.
The storms struck June 17, killing three people across the state. In Almora, a town of about 100 people southwest of Wadena, Mabel Wangerin is still mourning the loss of her friend Margie Schulke, who died during the storm.
Wangerin's garage was blown down. A new garage was built in its place.
Others like Janine Cronk lost their homes entirely. Cronk's house was replaced after her insurance company ruled it unlivable.

KSAX-TV reports most homes declared unlivable have been taken down, but not all have been rebuilt.
Residents say several renovation projects will begin this spring. Knocked-down trees will be replaced, and construction is expected to start on several houses.
