Michael Berman's Washington lobbying firm's powerful client list includes Anheuser-Busch, The American Medical Association and BP. Berman's early career was connected with Walter Mondale.
Berman was Vice President Mondale's counsel and deputy chief of staff, and national coordinator for his presidential run. He has worked on every Democratic presidential campaign since 1964, and every Democratic convention since 1968, scheduling the public sessions at six conventions.
Morning Edition's Cathy Wurzer sat down with Berman in Washington D.C. to talk about why he enjoys working in the nation's capital.
