St. Cloud student struck, injured by school bus

St. Cloud police say a school bus making a right turn struck and injured a 10-year-old boy.

Police say the boy had missed the bus and was running after it when he was hit about 8 a.m. Thursday.

KNSI-AM reports the boy is a fifth-grade student at Madison Elementary School. He was taken to St. Cloud Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the 74-year-old bus driver was not aware that the boy had been hit. No children on the bus were hurt.
