Fargo sees 11 percent drop in crime

North Dakota's largest city has seen a double-digit drop in crime in the last year.

Fargo Police Chief Keith Ternes says the number of offenses dropped by 11 percent between 2009 and 2010. That includes a 12 percent drop in serious crimes like homicide, robbery and aggravated assault.

There were no homicides in the city in 2010, down from two in 2009.

Ternes calls the drop "remarkable" and says it's a credit to the police force and the residents of Fargo.
