Wisconsin Assembly to take up controversial bill

The Wisconsin Assembly, the equivalent of the Minnesota House, is expected to be in session today. They are expected to take up a bill that passed the Wisconsin Senate last night. That bill would strip most public workers in Wisconsin of their collective bargaining rights. Thousands of protesters descended on the Capitol after news of the hastily-called vote was reported.

MPR's Cathy Wurzer spoke with Patrick Marley of the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel who was at the Capitol last night as the drama unfolded.
