Missing high school student found in Wis. forest

A 15-year-old Minnesota girl who went missing in the Ottawa National Forest has been found safe after an extensive search by more than 20 agencies from Wisconsin and Minnesota.

The Vilas County Sheriff's Department says India Orman was found about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the Sylvania Wilderness Area after spending the previous night in the forest. Sheriff's officials say Orman was treated for exposure at Eagle Memorial Hospital and was in good condition.

Authorities spent Sunday searching for Orman, a student at the Conserve School, in Land O' Lakes. Authorities say she went on a hike after dinner, but never returned. Conserve School is located on a 1,200-acre wilderness campus.

Sheriff's officials say one emergency responder was hurt during the search and was treated at the hospital for an unknown injury.
