NAACP to rally in St. Paul for human rights Monday

Members of the NAACP will rally at the Capitol to show solidarity with public employees and union members around the country.

The group says the march is in support of a living wage as well as civil and human rights. It's part of the NAACP's 'We Are One' campaign, which it says promotes dignity, fairness and equality for working families. Organizers say they expect hundreds of participants.

Monday afternoon's march starts at Cathedral Park in St. Paul and ends at the Capitol's upper mall.

NAACP spokesman Christopher Fleming says the rally isn't in response to any particular legislation in Minnesota.
