Vandalism totals $30K at Mankato concrete company

Someone used a forklift, a dump truck and a pickup to vandalize a Mankato concrete contractor over the weekend.

Mankato police say someone started a forklift outside the Hoffman Concrete plant and drove it into a dump truck. The dump truck was then used to smash into another truck and through large doors into the plant.

Inside the plant, a pickup was used to ram into several drums filled with concrete-sealing oil.

The Free Press reports the damage totals more than $30,000.

The vandalism was discovered early Monday morning. Police have no suspects.
