Police seek suspect in fatal Superior shooting

SUPERIOR, Wis. (AP) -- A man in Superior has been shot dead, and authorities are seeking the public's help in tracking down a suspect.

Police say they got a call about 10 a.m. Sunday that a 35-year-old man had been shot while he was outside doing some cleaning or maintenance work on a vehicle. Neighbors told police they heard gunshots, but didn't see anything when they looked outside.

The man made his way into a house but died from his injuries.

The name of the victim is being withheld until his family is notified.

Police had no on in custody by Sunday afternoon. Anyone with information is asked to call the police department.
