Officials ID man killed in Blue Earth attack

Authorities have released the name of a man killed in a home invasion in Blue Earth.

Officials say 37-year-old Christopher Michael Fulmer of Blue Earth died from blunt force trauma.

Authorities are still searching for the weapon used, but say he was bludgeoned with a tool or tools when a masked man entered his home early Monday.

A suspect is in the Faribault County Jail and is expected to be formally charged in the next few days. The Bureau of Criminal Apprehension says the suspect is the husband of 38-year-old Candice Marie Freeman of Ceylon.

Freeman and her teenage daughters, ages 19 and 15, were seriously injured in the attack. They are at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester and their conditions are not being released.
