MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Prosecutors say they don't have enough evidence to charge a Crystal couple in the death of an infant, but the Crystal city attorney's office has charged the man and woman with domestic assault.

County Attorney Mike Freeman says authorities are still investigating the infant's death and charges could come weeks from now. The baby's bones were found in the couple's yard on Thursday. It's unknown if the boy was alive when he was born in 2008.

But the Crystal city attorney is charging 28-year-old Tiffany Clark and 30-year-old Duane Clark with misdemeanor domestic assault. Officials were called to the home Tuesday on a report of an assault, and hours later they were told about the baby's death.

Both Clarks are in custody. A phone number at their house is disconnected.
