Ron Paul visits Fargo on Super Tuesday
Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul spoke Tuesday to an enthusiastic crowd in Fargo, N.D.
The Texas congressman told the enthusiastic crowd his libertarian message sets him apart from the other Republican candidates, and that his campaign has room for diverse people with a common goal.
"We should all come together in the defense of liberty and then we should be left alone and government should butt out of our lives and off our backs and out of our wallet," Paul said.
Paul repeated his campaign themes of cutting federal spending, eliminating the Federal Reserve and protecting privacy rights.
Paul said his campaign is energized by the large number of young supporters.
"So many young people here. I think you're realizing you're getting a bad rap for what you're inheriting," Paul said. "You'd like a much better deal and the better deal can be found in less government and only sending people to Washington who have read the Constitution, and will obey the Constitution and will take their oath of office seriously."
Paul campaigned three times in North Dakota hoping to pick up a win on Super Tuesday.
