Body found near boat in St. Croix River
Officials say a 46-year-old man was found dead in the St. Croix River - about 100 yards from an unattended boat.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports that just before 6 p.m. Saturday, authorities got a call about an unmanned fishing boat that was circling near the marina in Bayport.
Washington County Sheriff's Sgt. Matt Wieland says authorities found a man in the water nearby. He was brought to shore and pronounced dead.
His name and cause of death have not been released.

The Ramsey County Medical Examiner and the Washington County Sheriff's Office Water Control Unit are investigating.
