Deputies: Driver smoked fake pot, crashed
VIRGINIA, Minn. (AP) -- The St. Louis County sheriff's office says a driver crashed his car in northeastern Minnesota after smoking synthetic marijuana.
A witness told authorities the driver was yelling in the parking lot of a Virginia shopping center and then drove across the lot and crashed into a parked vehicle Tuesday. The driver was having a seizure and was taken to a hospital.
WDIO-TV reports the sheriff's office says the driver had gotten synthetic marijuana from a friend, who had bought it at a smoke shop earlier in the morning.
The driver's name was not released.
