Police cancel search for missing woman, 3 kids

Police Wednesday evening searched for a woman and her three young children who may have been abducted in Faribault.

Police later canceled their search later in the evening when the woman and children were found in good condition.

According to a BCA crime alert, 24-year-old Andrea Moreno Ramirez called a friend and said her boyfriend had taken control of her vehicle and was "taking them to I-35."

Witnesses at Cannon Valley Clinic say Ramirez left with a man and two of her children around 1:30 p.m. Wednesday.

The cellphone was pinged in a wooded area near a bicycle trail in Faribault. Officers searched the area but couldn't find anything. The cellphone has since been turned off.

Police have been unable to verify the suspect's identity. He was seen driving a black Hummer with Minnesota license plates and 26-inch rims.
