Northeast Minneapolis is abuzz with Art-A-Whirl this weekend. Sponsored and organized by the Northeast Minneapolis Arts Association, Art-A-Whirl celebrates the 17th annual weekend of artists, events and activities to capture the growing arts ecosystem of northeast Minneapolis.

Every art form imaginable is open to the public during the three-day event, painters, performers, sculptors, scribes and so many more open the doors into one of the thriving arts communities the Twin Cities.

Participants span northeast with over 50 locations with large concentrations at the Northrup King building, Casket Arts complex, Grain Belt Complex and others. Trolley routes, printed maps, and every form of social media guide patrons and participants through the nearly overwhelming three-day event.
