Writer, comedian and "Daily Show" co-creator Lizz Winstead has a new book of essays called "Lizz Free or Die." In her book, Winstead talks about growing up in Minnesota as a progressive in a conservative Catholic household and how it shaped her work as a comedian.
She joined The Daily Circuit when she was in town on her book tour.
"That's my promise: That I care and I try and I will give you a show that is something that I believe and can defend, and hopefully you'll like it, and if you don't, well there's another show tomorrow that hopefully you'll have better luck with," she said.
