St. Paul police investigate fatal shooting
St. Paul police are investigating the fatal shooting of a 21-year-old man.
Police say they do not believe the death of Marcelis Lamar Stafford, of St. Paul, on Saturday night was a random act.
Acquaintances took him to a local hospital, where he died a short time later.
Police are seeking suspect information and details of what lead to the shooting.
The St. Paul Pioneer Press reports the shooting occurred in a parking lot near some apartments.
