Minnesota Wild General Manager Chuck Fletcher announced Wednesday that the team has agreed to terms with free agent left wing Zach Parise and free agent defenseman Ryan Suter on 13-year contracts.

"We are extremely excited to add the collective skill, experience and character of Zach Parise and Ryan Suter to an already promising roster," Fletcher said in a news release.

Parise, 27, was the captain of the New Jersey Devils as the team reached the Stanley Cup Final this year. He is a native of Minneapolis. Suter, who is also 27 and played 79 games with Nashville this season, is from Madison, Wis.
