GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- Score that landing a 10K.

A Minnesota pilot bested about 40 other competitors Saturday to take home the $10,000 prize in the inaugural GFK Flight Support landing contest at Grand Forks International Airport.

Hans Estby, of Rochester, Minn., dropped the wheels of his plane within 7 feet of the target line.

Estby has only been flying for three years.

Brent Seifert, owner and president of GFK Flight Support, tells the Grand Forks Herald he plans to hold the event next year and add some new ideas to make it better.
