Evaluating the Ryan Budget plan
Mitt Romney's choice of Wisconsin Congressman Paul Ryan as his running mate has turned the Presidential election in part into a referendum on the role of government in the economy and society.
Rep. Paul Ryan is in his seventh term in Congress and chair of the House Budget Committee, but outside of Wisconsin is probably best known as the architect of a budget bill that passed the House earlier this year. But Ryan has received harsh criticism from Democrats over changes his budget would make to both Medicare and Medicaid.
Policy analyst Sarah Imhof, political opinion writer Jonathan Bernstein and insurance industry expert Stephen Parent will join the Daily Circuit to assess the Ryan budget plan and discuss how his addition to the Republican ticket will change the race.
