5 Thirty-eight year old Jef VanSyoc is a south Minneapolis artist blacksmith. He owns and operates VanMadrone Metalworks, located in the former Purity Bakery Company building. 
6 A lab in Grand Forks, N.D., is able to process up to 10 goose eggs per day. Researchers there are extracting antibodies from egg yolks through an elaborate purification process. The hope is to develop a treatment for viral diseases including West Nile and avian flu viruses using goose antibodies.
