Norwegian choir coming to ND, Minn.
GRAND FORKS, N.D. (AP) -- A community youth choir from Grand Forks' sister city in Norway is coming to North Dakota.
The Sarpsborg, Norway, group is celebrating its 40th anniversary. The choir of 25 girls and young women, ages 7 to 26, planned to arrive in Grand Forks on Sunday.
The Grand Forks Herald reports that the Norway singers and a Grand Forks middle school will put on a joint concert Tuesday. Before returning, the Sarpsborg choir plans a noon concert Friday at the Mall of America in Minneapolis.
