Our tour of battleground states takes us to Michigan today. The latest opinion polls show President Barack Obama holding a lead in the state that Mitt Romney's father once served as governor.

One thing that may hurt the president is the key issue of jobs. Michigan's unemployment rate is 9.3 percent, higher than the national rate but down from a peak of 14.2 percent in mid-2009. So how is the presidential race shaping up in the wolverine state?
