Fund set up for slain Little Falls teens' families

A memorial fund has been set up for the families of two Minnesota teenagers fatally shot during an alleged home burglary.

The Brainerd Dispatch reports the fund was set up at Pine Country Bank in Little Falls, Bowlus, Royalton and Rice. Checks may be written out to the Haile Kifer and Nicholas Brady Memorial Fund.

The fund is intended to help with funeral costs for the families of 18-year-old Haile Kifer and her cousin, 17-year-old Nicholas Brady. A 64-year-old rural Little Falls man is charged with murdering the two teenagers after they apparently broke into his home on Thanksgiving Day.

A joint funeral for the teens will be held Saturday in Little Falls.
