Mpls. police investigate apparent homicide

Police were investigating an apparent homicide that occurred Tuesday afternoon in Minneapolis.

At about 3:30 p.m., officers arrived at the 1000 block of Humboldt Avenue North after receiving a report of shots fired. They found a man dead at the scene.

No suspects were in custody, but the police said the public was not in danger. They did not identified the victim.

The Minneapolis Police Department said anyone with information about the shooting should call (612) 692-TIPS.
