1 dead, 2 injured in Shakopee shooting

Police have arrested one suspect but continue searching for two others after gunfire in a Shakopee apartment killed a high school student and wounded two other people.

Shakopee police say a 27-year-old Minneapolis man has been arrested. The search continues for two other male suspects.

Officers were called to a report of a shooting about 11 p.m. Thursday. Police say they found 19-year-old Marcos Antino Pantaleon had been fatally shot.

There were five other people in the apartment at the time. Pantaleon's 22-year-old brother and 17-year-old male cousin were wounded and taken to Hennepin County Medical Center. Police say the others were uninjured.

Pantaleon was a senior at Shakopee High School. A memorial fund has been established. Donations can be made to the Marcos Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank branch.
