Missing Minn. child found safe in Vermont

A 7-year-old girl has been found safe after Bloomington police asked the public to help find her.

Authorities say family members were concerned about Alyssa Mariel-Lorraine Lafountain because she requires a feeding tube and a special diet. She was believed to be with her father but family members were concerned that he might not be able to care for her.

Police got word Sunday that the pair had been found at a relative's house Vermont. Both were safe and in good health.
