Hopkins HS senior charged with prostituting fellow cheerleader

A Hopkins High School student is facing two felony charges for allegedly prostituting a fellow student on the Internet.

Hennepin County prosecutors have charged senior Montia Marie Parker, 18, with sex trafficking and promotion of prostitution.

Authorities say in March, Parker posted photos of a 16-year-old fellow cheerleader to backpage.com as part of a prostitution ad. Parker drove the alleged victim to an apartment in Crystal, Minn., where prosecutors say the younger girl performed oral sex on a man in exchange for $60.

The criminal complaint reports that Parker took the money and put it in her own bank account.

Parker also allegedly took the girl to see another man, but no sex acts took place.

The mother of the alleged victim told investigators she called police after finding text messages from Parker on her daughter's phone. The mother says her daughter has a developmental delay.
