Crystal bringing '700 Sundays' to Mpls.

Actor-comedian Billy Crystal is bringing his Tony Award-winning autobiographical show "700 Sundays" to Minneapolis this fall.

Crystal will perform his one-man show Oct. 22-26 at the historic State Theatre.

The show is scheduled to run for six performances only. It's Crystal's only performance of the show before it returns to Broadway for its final performances this fall.

"700 Sundays" played to sold-out houses on Broadway during the 2004-05 season and won a Tony Award for special theatrical experience. The show's title comes from Crystal's calculation of how many Sundays he spent together with his father, Jack, who died of a heart attack at age 54.

Single tickets go on sale to the public at noon on June 22.
