Bellisio buys Austin Packaging for $6.1M
Bellisio Foods Inc. of Minneapolis is buying Austin Packaging Company for $6.1 million.
Bellisio had the winning bid Wednesday and also will assume $280,000 of APC's remaining liabilities.
The sale is pending court approval Thursday and closing next week.
The Austin Daily Herald reports Bellisio says it plans to keep APC in Austin and expand its operations.
Bellisio manufactures Michelina's frozen dinners along with products for Boston Market and private-label companies.
