Hennepin court records center remodeled

Hennepin County District Court is making it easier for members of the public to access court records.

Starting Monday, civil, conciliation, criminal, housing and probate, and mental health information can be found in one spot at the main courthouse. The center, known as the "B Vault" is open Monday through Friday, from 8 to 4:30 p.m., with the exception of Wednesday, when it closes at 1:30 p.m.

Judicial District Administrator Mark Thompson says the centralized record center shows the court's commitment to improving access and efficiency.

The center features 13 computer terminal stations.

The Family Justice Center, Juvenile Justice Center and suburban locations will continue to maintain records at their respective locations.
