Mpls. man in wheelchair struck, killed by car
Minneapolis police say a man was struck and killed last night as he crossed Olson Memorial Highway in a wheelchair.
Officers responded to the intersection of James Avenue North and Olson Memorial Highway at about 9:40 p.m.
Police said the driver who hit the man was traveling east on the highway and was cooperating with the investigation.
No arrests had been made. The victim's name was not immediately released.
