Investigators from several law enforcement agencies are continuing to search for a person of interest in a fatal shooting in Granite Falls this week.

While they're not calling him a suspect, authorites say they're looking for Andrew Joseph Dikken, 28, in connection with the fatal shooting of Kara Ann Monson, 26, on Monday.

Another victim, Christopher Allen Panitzke, 28, is being treated for multiple gunshot wounds at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis.

Bureau of Criminal Apprehension spokeswoman Jill Oliveira said investigators found Dikken's pickup truck this morning in a remote area north of Belview, Minnesota.

"We don't know how long that vehicle has been there, and information like that would be very helpful for investigators in determining where he could have gone or how far he could have gone," Oliveira said.

Dikken may be armed and dangerous and should not be approached, authorities said. Granite Falls Police, the Yellow Medicine Sheriff's Office are leading the search with the BCA assisting.
