Fresh from his induction into the Songwriters Hall of Fame, Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter J.D. Souther is in town for two shows at The Dakota.

He's also doing some acting, playing Watty White on the ABC program "Nashville."

He stops by The Daily Circuit to talk about his new album "Midnight in Tokyo," the Southern California sound he helped invent and why he's back playing music after taking a 25-year break.
